| Linde hydraulic pumps and motors for open and closed loop systems
The pump series HPV ...02 was developed for closed loop systems. The pumps are equipped with all the necessary design features, such as high pressure relief valves, combined with feed valves, low pressure relief valves, cold start valves with an integrated filter, a feed pump (with a choice of internal or external intake), PTO suitable for SAE "A" or "B" for additional work pumps, in tandem arrangement as well.
Linde introduced these design features in the well known BPV pump generation more than 20 years ago. This was the predecessor of the new HPV ...02 pump generation series which is unmatched for its reliability.
Based on our BPV experience our main goal for the HPV ...02 pumps was the versatility of different adjustment options. Every option can be fitted to the same pump, regardless of whether it is a disc cam servo control, a hydraulic remote control or other electro-hydraulic control.
The next step was the development of the new pump generation for open systems, known as the HPR ...02. The same tried and trusted construction principles were kept and this resulted in pumps with better suction. Revolution speeds were extended beyond the present technical level.
The pumps, which are electronically controlled by means of a regulating magnet, are equipped with an LS regulator, whose purpose is to exactly match the flow volume, the maximum load as well as the control and mode selection. General design features of the complete 02 range are:
- in line configuration (swash plate construction)
- an increased displacement angle of 21° (currently the highest in the hydraulics industry)
- an extremely compact construction with high performance
- SAE fastening flange and ANSI gear shaft, SAE high pressure connections for up to 420 bar (6 100 psi) nominal pressure
